Review: Lightning by Dean Koontz, read by Christopher Lane
Lightning by Dean Koontz is a fantastic story about how true, pure and unconditional love can make a man change himself, the future of many and the past of all.
Renowned narrator Christopher Lane delivers a superb performance, using a large range of voices and accents in order to bring all of these characters to life. From the small girl listening to her father’s invented stories, to the ruthless German assassin and to a historical figure, his narration is top notch.
This was my first experience with a novel written by Dean Koontz and I was completely pulled into the world he created with such talent and prowess. Instantly immersive, highly entertaining and beautifully written, Lightning will stay with me for a long, long time. If you are into time travel adventures, this one will blow you away!
