The Story
Hi, my name is Victor Dima and I’m the founder of theAudiobookBlog.com. I live in Băile Olănești, Romania, surrounded by forested mountains and a winding river. I started this project in February 2016 because I wanted to add my ”voice” to the Audiobook Community and to do something in return for this industry that gave me so much. I am self employed as a video game reviewer for victordima.net and I founded, own and manage the largest PlayStation Community in Romania, that being PlayStation Fans Romania, with almost 19.000 members.
I discovered audiobooks around 10 years ago after I enjoyed lots of theatre on the radio. My first book experienced in audio format was The Lost World by Arthur Conan Doyle , performed by the great Michael Prichard… Time passed and I’m glad to say that since then I listened to more than 650 audio recordings. What most people don’t know about me is that I am visually impaired and reading regular, paper books would be tiring for me and that’s one of the reasons why I love this industry and all the narrators that I discovered over the years.

The Objective
My objective with theAudiobookBlog.com is to raise the public’s awareness regarding audiobooks, narrators and of course, authors. These are books brought to life by some amazing actors and I think that everybody should know about them.
I will try to bring you honest reviews for the books I enjoy, I’m listening only to Fiction and in that genre I usually read Thrillers, Espionage, Adventures, Mystery, Crime, Police procedurals and some Fantasy. Also, i have a friend, Tracy AnnBelle Clark, that’s helping with reviews for Fantasy / Supernatural.
Besides audiobook reviews, you’ll find here news about new releases and the Audiobook Industry and some great daily deals.

When I started theAudiobookBlog.com – Read Me A Story I thought that I’ll do this by my lonesome, but I meet Tracy and she wanted to contribute to the blog with some reviews and I was thrilled with her proposal.
