As Niil uncovers more about his family and his own connection to enarii, he is drawn into events that quickly grow beyond anything he expected.

I enjoyed B.R. Kang’s vivid writing style and the story feels immersive, with a steady sense of discovery as the world opens up piece by piece. The setting is well constructed and the balance between mystery, adventure, and character development works well. The characters feel grounded and believable, which makes it easy to care about their journey.

The audiobook is performed by Laura Clifton, a theatre and film actor whose narration adds clarity and personality to the story. She brings energy and originality to the characters and handles both quieter emotional moments and more dynamic scenes with ease. Her performance supports the tone of B.R. Kang’s writing and helps maintain the entertaining listening experience.

Caput Mundi: The Head of the World is an easy recommendation for fans of immersive fantasy stories featuring rich world-building, strong characters and unfolding mysteries.
