You can all find out more about the plot from the Publisher’s Summary and see the list of awards received by ‘Til the Last Snowflake Falls:
Fantastic! Fun-tastic! Fawn-tastic!
The Adventures of Fawn is not only an exciting, magical, award-winning coming-of-age trilogy, it’s also a quality introduction to novels for children who have graduated past the Diary of a Wimpy Kid level. The series is also great listening for any age group.
‘Til the Last Snowflake Falls is the first entry in this series and follows the exploits of Fawn, the daughter of legendary reindeer Comet and Vixen. The young reindeer spends far too many days alone in the stable at Santa’s Village, with no friends and nothing to do. While her parents caution she’s much too young, naive, and inexperienced to go exploring outside the Village by herself, Fawn disagrees. Declaring, “I want some fun and excitement! I don’t care how dangerous it is!” she begins sneaking out each day in search of friends, excitement, and adventure.
She’ll find them all…but also find herself in dangerous situations she’s unprepared for! She’ll realize perhaps a tad too late that mum and dad were right all along! And, she’ll learn some valuable lessons about what’s really important in life. The Adventures of Fawn are filled with fun, laughs, excitement, and magical entertainment for listeners of all ages!
‘Til the Last Snowflake Falls is on the “Recommended Reading” list with The US Book Review (2019), was awarded the Bronze Medal in Dan Poynter’s 2017 Global E-book Awards, received an Honoree Medallion from indie B.R.A.G. Awards, a Reader’s Favorite Five Star Award, One Stop Fiction Books’ Five Star Award, and Literary Titan’s Silver Book Award, and many other accolades.
Al E. Boy is an English and drama teacher, originally from Canada, but currently residing in Seoul, South Korea. Through almost 40 years as a Santa Claus, he developed quite a repertoire of tales to explain and answer the many questions children ask about Santa, the North Pole, his reindeer, and his friends, the elves, and the Santa mythology. It was this collection of tales which prompted him to begin writing The Adventures of Fawn. Through the young daughter of legendary reindeer Comet and Vixen, he’s been able to weave an exciting, colorful, imaginative world which will delight readers of all ages! Mr. Boy has recently delved into a different genre, and has completed two thrillers.
Pam Tsujioka is a native Californian of Japanese descent. She is new to the world of children’s audiobook narration, but has been mimicking the cartoon voices on screen (and the ones in her head) for many years in non-professional venues. Studying over the past few years with Kalmenson and Kalmenson in Los Angeles and online with ACX Masterclass and Accents classes, she has found an exciting new outlet to stretch her vocal and acting talents.
A full review is coming soon, I am really curious to “dip my ears” into such a promising narrative experience. But until then, take care, stay safe and don’t forget, always listen with your heart!
