Review: All the Sinners Bleed by S. A. Cosby, performed by Adam Lazarre-White
All the Sinners Bleed is another visceral, fantastic, dark, and atmospheric thriller that solidifies New York Times bestselling and Los Angeles Times Book Prize-winning author S. A. Cosby as one of the most distinctive, original and entertaining storytellers in American crime fiction.
The story follows Titus Crown, the first Black sheriff in the history of Charon County, a small town with big secrets in Virginia, that at first sight may seem like a land of moonshine, cornbread, and honeysuckle. Although in recent decades quiet Charon has had only two murders, a deranged and ruthless serial killer will bring a time of darkness, fear, and despair for everyone living there.
Award-winning actor, director, writer, artist, and audiobook narrator Adam Lazarre-White skillfully brings all these characters, their tribulations, and this unforgettable timely tale to life in a gripping and vividly alive performance. I can’t think of any other narrator who could have done a better job with this dramatic story.
All the Sinners Bleed picks up steam fast and doesn’t let go until the very end. An unpausable story made even better as audiobook thanks to the masterful narration, a performance that perfectly aligns with the tone and feel of the narrative.
