Hello again, dear audiobooks friends! In today’s spotlight article, I will tell you a few things about Deadly Accounts, which is the first book in the Agent Nora Wexler series of Mysteries written by Jason Letts. Released in audiobook format in mid-November 2020, the audio production is narrated by Trudi Knoedler and has a duration of almost 8 and a half hours.

The good news, if you are a fan of mystery thrillers, is that the first three novels are already available in audiobook format. More than that, you can find them as a box set, so you can grab three audiobooks for just one credit!

Let’s take a look at the Publisher’s Summary for Deadly Accounts and after that I’ll tell you a few things about the narrator and the author:

Introducing Nora Wexler, the FBI’s newest agent and the one best suited to track down a high-tech serial killer.

Spurred by the incessant threats of violence against women happening online, Nora Wexler joins the FBI on a mission to put them to an end, but she quickly discovers that being an agent comes with challenges that don’t always fit into her plan.

An attractive Iraq War vet and fellow agent named Travis Greer helps show her the ropes until he leaves for vacation, which happens to give him a front-row seat to the schemes of a twisted serial killer using anonymous internet accounts to play smoke and mirrors with his victims.

Suddenly, Nora is whisked to Seattle to join Greer and face off against a mysterious nemesis terrorizing a group of female business owners. It’s sink or swim for Nora, whose reputation within the FBI will be on the line as she strains her faculties to save them.

Professional audiobook narrator and producer since 2015, voice actress Trudi Knoedler is a listed talent with Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX.com) and Findaway Voices. Her books include a trilogy of FBI action-adventure titles for Jason Letts, a trilogy of WWII-inspired historical fiction novels and one novella for E.C. White White, a trilogy of Maine mystery novels for Maureen Milliken, two time-travel romances for Christ Karlsen, and two fantasy fictions in German for AJ Tipton.

She has also narrated non-fiction self-help books for Findaway Voices. Having left the world of 9 to 5 office jobs in 2009 after a case of breast cancer, Trudi decided to pursue her lifelong love of acting and began training in the Shakespearean style with A Noise Within repertory company as well as acting modern roles with Milestone Theatre Company.

She brings a love of creating characters and of performing a variety of accents to her audiobook work. As a classically trained soprano, she has been a member of the San Gabriel Valley Choral Company and has sung with various community opera companies in Southern California. When not creating audiobooks, Trudi is a volunteer narrator for AIRSLA.org, an audio internet reading service for the visually challenged.

Author Jason Letts is the #1 Bestselling Author of the Agent Nora Wexler Mystery Series, which has over 250,000 sales and has ranked as high as #26 in the Kindle Store. Since releasing his first book in 2010, he has been at the vanguard of publishing and marketing with his stories and the promotional platform he created, BookSends.com. In addition to being a book junkie, he also champions environmental causes and the fight against homelessness.

I have already started listening to Deadly Accounts and I am enjoying Trudi Knoedler’s narration very much. I will post a review in the upcoming weeks, but until then take care, stay safe and don’t forget, always listen with your heart!
