New comedy-mystery The Big Break-Up of 1948 by James Grant Goldin, available now as audiobook narrated by Nancy Bober
Hello again, dear audiobooks friends! Today I want to draw your attention to the recently released The Big Break-Up of 1948, a new comedy-mystery audiobook by James Grant Goldin.
The audio production is narrated by Nancy Bober, has a runtime of six hours, it has been produced through Findaway Voices and published by Basilisk Books.
From what I understand, the story is a satire of the husband-and-wife detective teams of classic cozy mysteries and it is set in The year 1948 when America’s Red Scare was just getting underway.
Let’s take a look at the Publisher’s Summary and after that, I’ll have some brief introductions for our author and narrator.
Clues, quips, and cocktails…that’s how Mr. and Mrs. Key always solved crimes. But what happens when their “perfect marriage” falls apart…in the middle of postwar Washington, DC’s, most baffling murder?
James Grant Goldin is the author of The Legendary Adventures of the Pirate Queens, and a writer-producer for TV shows including Mysteries & Scandals and Accident, Suicide or Murder.
Nancy Bober is the narrator of multiple audiobooks, including A Croissant to Die For…, Snifter of Death, and Mastiffs, Mystery, and Murder.
I will return soon with a full review for The Big Break-Up of 1948 but until then, take care, stay safe, and don’t forget, always listen with your heart!
