Hello to you all, dear Audiobooks fans, in this first post for 2019! I wish you all the best and I hope that we will live many great adventures this year, thanks to the amazing writers and narrators that make our lives beautiful with their creative stories.

With 2018 behind us and with the sales for audiobooks doubling year on year compared to 2017, the Audiobook Industry flourishes and more authors want to bring their works to this medium.

Dr. Randy Niederman is one of them and his novel titled The Myth of Love has just been released a few days ago as an audiobook.

From the Publisher's Summary we find out the following plot details:

A dark, gritty, pulp-fiction style thriller involving two mythological beings, who sacrifice immortality in a quest to experience human love.

In a supernatural love affair between an alcoholic private eye and a Russian dominatrix, their quest for love upsets the balance of the universe, triggering a civil war between mythological beings. The story juxtaposes the sacred and the profane, intertwining sexuality and violence with Eastern mysticism.

I already started listening to The Myth of Love, made my way through the first two hours of the story and I find it very entertaining and interesting. Will post a review next week, after I'm done. The audiobook is over 6 hours in length and the narrator is Patrick Zeller.
