Hannah Miller’s An Amish Café, available now as audiobook narrated by the talented Trudi Knoedler

Hello again, dear audiobooks friends! Today’s spotlight article is dedicated to An Amish Café, another promising Amish Romance written by well-versed author in the Amish way of life, Hannah Miller.
The audio production is a little over two hours and is performed by talented narrator Trudi Knoedler. It is always an absolute pleasure to discover Trudi Knoedler behind the mic. I love the fact that she has started to become a recognizable voice in the Amish romance genre that’s so popular today. Every time I see her name attached to an audiobook, I know I am in for a good time, as she manages to bring any story to life in a pleasant and entertaining way.
Let’s take a look at the Publisher’s Summary in order to find out some details about the story and after that, I will introduce you to our narrator and author.
Dorothy Hartzler, a restless young Amish woman, dreams of something more than the traditional Amish life. With her mother ill and her fear of being alone increasing, Dorothy is forced to make decisions. When she is thrown into Saul Beachey’s company, she questions her reluctance to open her heart.
After disaster strikes, Dorothy leaves home and starts anew in a neighboring Amish community, where she finds work at an old-fashioned café. As she grapples with starting over and letting go of the past, Dorothy must decide whether to embrace the possibilities of the future and a new love, or cling to the safety of the familiar.
Author Hannah Miller has been writing Amish Romance for the past eight years. Long intrigued by the Amish way of life, Hannah has traveled the United States, visiting different Amish communities. She treasures her Amish friends and enjoys visiting with them. Hannah makes her home in Indiana, along with her husband, Robert. Together, they have three children and seven grandchildren. Hannah loves to ride bikes in the sunshine. And if it’s warm enough for a picnic, you’ll find her under the nearest tree! Visit her at www.ticahousepublishing.com
Trudi Knoedler has been a voice actress since 2015, doing primarily audiobooks using many character voices and accents for fiction, and straight, personal and intelligent delivery for non-fiction. She has produced 21 audiobooks during the past 8 years and is also a VO actress. Although she is most often cast to do historical fiction or suspense, GOING BACK HOME was of particular interest to her because her family were Germans from Romania whose old-fashioned style of German speech is not too far removed from Amish. When not producing audiobooks, she enjoys the role of “Oma” to her two spirited granddaughters.
I will return in late July with a full review for An Amish Café, but until then, take care, stay safe, and don’t forget, always listen with your heart!
We hope that you enjoyed this article and, if you did, that you will share it with your friends on social media.
