New Historical Fiction novel Red Clay, Yellow Grass by Richard Barager has just been released in audiobook format, narrated by Jon Noto
Hello again, dear audiobooks friends! I am really glad to let you all know that a new historical fiction novel is now out in audiobook format on Amazon and Audible. I am talking about Red Clay, Yellow Grass by Richard Barager, which has just been made available in our favorite medium. The audio production is almost 10 hours long, the narrator is Jon Noto and the publisher is Evolved Publishing.
I invite you to find more about the story in Red Clay, Yellow Grass from the Publisher’s Summary below:
A battleground and a rock festival. Love and war in the age of Aquarius.
A startlingly vivid portrayal of the 1960s, as seen through the eyes of two ill-fated college lovers. The story of their generation spills across some of the era’s most iconic settings: the legendary battleground of Khe Sanh; a Midwestern campus riven by dissent; and Altamont Speedway, scene of the notorious rock festival that ended the sixties.
Booklist: “[B]arager’s dynamic, passionate, often moving exploration of the turbulent and politically divided 1960s…is striking. The cast of complicated characters adds arresting human dimensions.”
Kirkus Indie: “Barager spins a compelling tale of youthful passion, both personal and political…a rich, satisfying experience. A well-written, gripping novel that expertly blends fact and fiction, love and conviction.”
Evolved Publishing presents a startlingly vivid portrayal of the 1960s, as one reviewer put it: “the decade that changed us all”.
Richard Barager is a nephrologist who cares for dialysis patients and kidney transplant recipients by day; by night, he writes fiction. He believes the two finest callings in life are doctor and writer, one ministering to the human condition, the other illuminating it; each capable of transforming it. Fiction explores meaning in a way science cannot. Sometimes only fiction tells the truth.
With a distinct and changeable voice, intense eyes, and classic face, Jon Noto is versatile and talented for every industry. He’s loved by audiences for big choices in two dozen stage roles, including his charismatic performance as “Malvolio” in “Twelfth Night.” His subtle intensity can be seen in twenty TV and film roles including “Redrum”, “Mysteries at the Museum” & “Castles Secrets & Legends.” Afterwards he began his career in stand-up comedy, performing at “The Comedy Cellars Village Underground” and “Greenwich Village Comedy Club.”
A review will be forthcoming, as I will start listening to Red Clay, Yellow Grass later tonight. Until then, take care, stay safe and don’t forget, always listen to your heart!
