Augie Sweetwater and the Time-Will-Tell Tale: The Sweetwater Saga, Book 2 audiobook cover depicting 3 teens running towards the a man in mid-air, facing away from the sun

Augie Sweetwater and the Time-Will-Tell Tale is the second book in the excellent Sweetwater Saga beautifully written by former photojournalist and marine park consultant, now a full-time novelist and extremely talented children’s author, William Harrigan.

After enjoying tremendously last year’s Augie Sweetwater and the Dolphin’s Tale, the first epic adventure in this saga perfectly suited for all ages, I can confirm that after listening to the Augie Sweetwater and the Time-Will-Tell Tale audiobook, I am really happy and delighted. In this second installment in which Augie, Mika, Coop, and Leo the dolphin use their wits, and Augie’s incredible inventions, which include antigravity boots, a special camera to take pictures of the past, and many other such incredible devices, to solve a couple of mysteries that have eluded the authorities for a long time.

In my humble opinion, William Harrigan is a terrific author who uses the knowledge he accumulated all those years working in the deep, alongside marine creatures, but also his considerable imagination to pen some of the most captivating, educational, and entertaining stories for young adults and grown-up people alike. The writing is excellent, clean, vivid, while the characters are colorful, well portrayed, and endearing.

Baker, dad, husband, and audiobook narrator Caleb Summers returns to voice these characters and their unbelievable adventures for a second time in Augie Sweetwater and the Time-Will-Tell Tale, and just like with Augie Sweetwater and the Dolphin’s Tale, Caleb delivers another superb performance.

With a true talent for voice acting, Mr. Summers manages to bring to life all our young heroes with enthusiasm, emotion, and passion. He perfectly captures each character’s personality and relays it flawlessly to the listener.

Mr. Summers is the perfect choice for this saga as he has the talent and skills of switching with ease between different voices, characters and at the same time to read this story in a credible voice perfectly suited for this audio production.

Augie Sweetwater and the Time-Will-Tell Tale is another thrilling narrative experience, filled with characters that feel alive, meaningful conversations, and poignant examples of how we can make this world a better place for everyone. I love it and I am super excited to have discovered this series! I will miss our three heroes and their smart dolphin Leo, and I sincerely hope that the next adventure is around the corner!

I highly recommend both Augie Sweetwater and the Time-Will-Tell Tale and Augie Sweetwater and the Dolphin’s Tale to kids and young adults, but also to those young at heart.
