Hello again, dear audiobooks friends! A long time ago, in 2016, when I was just starting with this project, I reviewed Bad Traffick, the second book in the award-winning Leine Basso series of high-octane thrillers by USA Today best-selling author D.V. Berkom.
Today, I’m really glad to return to this series and to let you all know that A Killing Truth, a prequel novel, is now available in audiobook format.
The audio production of A Killing Truth is a little over three hours and a half in duration and it is performed by American actress, vocalist, audiobook narrator, and voice artist Kristi Alsip.
Although I’ve listened to more than 1,400 audiobooks in my career as an audiobook reviewer, industry insider, and consultant, I clearly remember Bad Traffick as being a really captivating and entertaining adventure. So, as such, I am really excited to discover the origins story of our badass hero.

Kristi Alsip is an American actress, vocalist, and voice artist based in Chicago. She was born in Bradley, Illinois to Richard Alsip and Marlene Alsip (nee Rice). After graduating from Millikin University in Decatur, IL with a BA in Theatre and Human Services, Kristi acted in Chicago theatre and voiced radio commercials for several years. She ultimately gravitated toward film work, which remains her primary love.
Kristi narrates several audiobook series and does commercial voice work for TV, radio, and industrial media. She is also lead vocalist of her rock/blues/soul band Crawford’s Daughter and performs throughout the Midwest.
