Audiobook Review: Sorcerer’s Creed, Legends from Qiledara, Book 4, by Amy Daniels, performed by various artists

Sorcerer’s Creed is the fourth entertaining audiobook in the epic Legends from Qiledara fantasy series by talented author Amy Daniels.
I have listened to all the audiobooks in this saga since the beginning and have enjoyed each of them a lot. With this fourth adventure, Amy Daniels continues to deliver excellent writing, interesting characters and an intriguing story while expanding the world she has created across the previous three books.
We find Qiledara and Galdutia entering a time of peace and working to strengthen the alliance between their two lands, but the dragonkin have not forgotten what happened to their Master and generals at Aaron’s hand. When Owen and Anna arrive in Qiledara to help Aaron master his magical abilities, they also begin teaching him about the sorcerer’s creed, an ancient promise between sorcerers that goes beyond kingdoms, allegiances and beliefs. I will not say anything more about the story because I don’t want to spoil any of the plot points, but this new adventure highlights how comfortable the author has become with these characters and world.
Just like in the previous audiobooks in the series, we have different voiceover artists and actors bringing to life the characters and events in Sorcerer’s Creed. The cast includes Phillip Nathaniel Freeman, Hannah Dere, Zach Brown, Bobby Gaglini, Garan Patrick, Emily Christine and Cory Barton. I said it before, and I will say it again: I really enjoy this approach, as it gives the different characters their own distinct voices and makes the listening experience even more immersive. The narration is excellent, and the entire cast works very well together.
At little over 21 hours, Sorcerer’s Creed is another strong entry in the Legends from Qiledara series and should definitely be checked out by anyone who has enjoyed the previous audiobooks. I’m always looking forward to more adventures in this excellent saga and I hope that Amy and this cast will delight and entertain us for many years to come.
